As part of Sceptre, our national week of action focused on tackling knife crime, PCSO's from your Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a safety sweep of Homefield Park and Amelia Park in Worthing.

These proactive checks help ensure that nothing unsafe or illegal—such as sharps or knives—are left in public areas. Keeping our parks safe is an important part of preventing harm, protecting young people and maintaining spaces the whole community can enjoy.

While carrying out the sweep, officers engaged with local residents, explaining how these regular checks form part of our wider year-round work to reduce knife crime and safeguard our community.
